Quatman Cafe in Cincinnati

Food terrific, but the dinning room smells musty and there is no avoiding the cold draft of air every time someone walks in. Unfortunately I sat my family in the only available seat right next to the door. Maybe it would be better in the warmer months, but the musty smell MUST be addressed before we ever done in again.

Really great little family diner, A great selection of food, quaint and local atmosphere, a great place to get food any time of day. Their sandwiches are huge and they pile the meat on. I had the corned beef. It was unfortunately not as sour as corned beef should be, but it was still a good meal. Lots of choices on sides (fries, chips, onion rings, etc.). We stopped here for late breakfast and it was very good. :)

I've eaten here once and they have good burgers in the city. It's convenient the way thy serve. Everything comes in a paper plate an you can order a canned drink. I like this place for the price and convenience. Parking can be a challenge.

This original Quatman Cafe has become a long standing tradition in our family. I grew up just down the street on Fenwick Ave, until I was 9 years old when we moved to Blue Ash. Many years later my dad started taking his six grandchildren there back in the 1990’s each time they visited for the holidays. He’d show them the old neighborhood then take them for the “best burger in town!” Soon, the whole family stared joining in and we all looked forward to it each visit. The burgers are consistently delicious, the atmosphere is simple, warm and feels like home, and the staff is the friendliest you’ll find anywhere. It’s by far one of our all time favorite places to eat and favorite burgers ever!

This place is a small, cafe with friendly staff, good food, and great deals! We can always count on a great meal that won't break the bank. Their Cheeseburger special cant be beat!

Small,hole in the wall place. Friendly service, I have been twice with no complaints. Great burgers,and super affordable. I was super surprised. Cold beer 2 bucks. All in all definitely recommend it!!

Quaint neighborhood, family style

This is my favorite local hamburger joint. Their cheeseburger special is great! On this day my granddaughter got their chicken strips, which are real chicken meat breaded and fried perfectly. She loved them...with a little bit of ketchup of course.

Wanted to give it 0 stars-think of this as a negative 1 star. Ignored when we got there, then for 10 minutes after sitting down. Felt like servers were actively trying to avoid acknowledging us. Bailed and went to Gordo's instead for an entirely more pleasant experience.

Quatman Cafe has spectacular food, and low prices. With many beers on tap, it's a great cafe for all ages, with a little bit of something for everyone. Every day they've got a different special that you can chose from, and with quick service, you're in and out in a snap if you choose.

If it is your first visit you have to get the burger. However, if you frequent Quatman (aka Gribble's) then feel free to go the hot ham and cheese route, corned beef on rye or the many other menu options. Great family/casual cafe though I still miss the old bar/deli version that existed prior to renovation. Be forewarned, this is a popular place for lunch through the week.

You have to come here and get a burger, especially when it is the lunch special! Great burger, fries, and a beer for about $7 and will fill you up. All the staff are great and the food comes out fairly quickly. They get packed during lunch so come early or you can get it to go.

Great food for a good price. I might ask them to cook my burger a little less next time, it was cooked more on the well side of medium well which is not my preference, but it was still tasty. We had a little bit of trouble with our server, but the rest of the staff stepped up and made up for it.

Inexpensive and tasty!! The cheeseburger special they offer everyday right now is a cheeseburger with fries or onion rings, and a drink for $8. The burger was big and juicy and the fries were seasoned perfectly. It was a lot of food for the price. My husband ordered the fish sandwich and said it was very good as well. The lady taking orders was very welcoming and friendly.

Menu selection was limited but food was very good (cheeseburger & rings). Staff is friendly and restaurant was clean. Beer served in frosty mugs was awesome. Price was reasonable and didn't have to wait long. Noticed they have outdoor patio seating but was not offered.

Burgers fries and onion rings are delicious. Good draft beer selection and served in a Frosted Mug. Canned soda. The interior is just a bit outdated but still a great place for casual dining.

I've lived here my whole life and just visited this place for the first time. Loved it! Great family-style atmosphere, service was excellent, food was delicious. I recommend their cheeseburger, fries, and their chili. Very yummy!

My husband and I are always looking for a diner that fits us. This one is great! We loved it! We are going to make it kinda are own place. May I make a suggestion? Music! The oldies, or country. Very well kept and welcoming place. They serve big meals and for economical prices. We liked the menu very much and the staff members were very welcoming and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.
